Kit Digital has been the largest SME digitalisation programme in Spain's history, funded by EU recovery funds. Hundreds of thousands of businesses received a voucher for a website, an online shop, a CRM, social media management or cybersecurity. Many of those services ran for 12 months, and those 12 months are ending.

Why they're good clients

  • They've already invested in going digital. No need to convince them.
  • They know how tech vendors and recurring services work.
  • Many lose the service when the subsidised period ends and must decide whether to pay, switch or drop it.
  • Some weren't happy with their provider: an opening for anyone offering better.

What they need now

They received… Now they need…
Website or online shop Maintenance, SEO, content, campaigns
Social media management Continuity or a professional upgrade
CRM or process tools Training, integration and support
E-invoicing Adaptation to Verifactu
Cybersecurity Renewal and a managed service

By size

  • Segment III (0-2 employees): 68 % of beneficiaries; vouchers of €2,000-3,000.
  • Segment II (3-9): 20 %; €6,000.
  • Segment I (10-49): 11 %; €12,000.
  • Segments IV and V (50-249): under 1 %; €25,000 and €29,000.

Segment I is especially interesting: companies with staff and budget that already invested €12,000.

How to approach them

Don't use Kit Digital as your opener ("since you had Kit Digital…"): it sounds like you've been investigating them. Talk about what their business needs: "We work with fashion shops in the area and many have a website but get no visitors from Google. How is yours performing?"

Use the data to offer services related to their professional activity. Identify yourself, never pose as a public body or their current provider, and respect opt-outs.
